How you help us

NWYO helps to develop our next generation of audiences and performers – if you support adult orchestras or other music organizations in the community, NWYO is a natural extension of that support. Though we do require tuition from our members, these funds account for only 40% of our annual budget. We strive to keep our tuition reasonable for all families and your support helps to defray those costs.

Members range in age from 8 to 18 and are selected to participate in one of three orchestras: the Concert, the Philharmonic, and the Symphony. In addition to our classical series for each of these ensembles, NWYO hosts a Young Artist Concerto Competition that brings in young musicians from around the state to compete in a live audition to win a chance to perform with the New World Youth Symphony Orchestra.
