We may be available for your next event! Weddings, fundraisers, award dinners, luncheons – you tell us what you need and we will work with our members to find a group available for your event.
Note: Please consider the many wonderful professional groups in and around Indianapolis before seeking us and we will direct you back to these groups if New World is unable to fulfill your needs. Please see below for a list of professional groups that might meet your needs.
We can compose performers into a size and style to suit your needs: 1 soloist up to a full orchestra.
We are an educational organization first and foremost, focusing on orchestral instruction. We are reaching out to more formally meet the needs of our community as we are contacted more and more frequently for events each year. However, because this falls outside of the mission of the organization and requires time outside of our program for members and staff to coordinate such efforts, we do charge a fee for this service. The pay scale is below and benefits both the individual performers and the organization.
Performer 1 – 8: $25/hour for each performer plus $50 to the organization (flat fee)
Chamber Orchestra: $500 to the organization
(more than 8 – reduced from full orchestra)
Full Orchestra: $1000 to the organization, plus transportation of percussion equipment
(90 – 95 member orchestra including strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and harps)
